CHITTAGONG: Police recovered the body of a man from a pond at Syedpur village of Popadia union under Boalkhali upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS. The body was identified as SM Jubaiyer, 45, son of Advocate Mozaffar Hossain, hailed from the said area. Boalkhali police after receiving information from the locals, recovered the body and sent it to the morgue for autopsy, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Dhormendu Das of Double Mooring police station. Police also recovered a bicycle from the spot. Police suspect that Jubaiyer might have fallen into the pond and drowned.
