Programmes on Victory Day begins

A fifteen-daylong cultural programme began Friday at ‘Swashata Bangla’ Museum marking the Victory Day. The programme was organised by Bangladesh Army Rangpur Area Headquaters. City Mayor Sharfuddin Ahamed Jhantu inaugurated the programme as chief guest. Major General Masood Razzak,GOC. 66, Infantry Division, Area Commander, Rangpur delivered the inaugural speech. Brigadier General General AKM Shamsuddin, Psc, Colonel Md Neamul Islam Fatemi, Admin, Rangpur Area, Colonel Nurul Huda, Principal Rangpur Cantonment School and College and President, observation committee of the Victory Day-2015 were present, among others. Cultural organisations of eight districts of Rangpur Division participated in the programme. The programmes will continue from 6 pm to 10pm everyday. The programme will be end on December 17.
