Ibrahim re-elected Kalyan Party chairman

Maj Gen (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim has been re-elected chairman of Kalyan Party while MM Aminur Rahman secretary general of the party, reports UNB. The new executive committee of Kalyan Party was announced at the national council and 8th founding anniversary programme of the party held at the National Press Club yesterday. Iqbal Hasan Mahmud, Tahir Mahmud, Azad Mahmud and Mrs Forkan Ibrahimn have been made new standing committee members of the party. Besides, Eng Farid Khan, Matiur Rahman, Syed Mohammad Manjur Islam, Bani Amin, Mohammad Ilias, Sahidur Rahman, Tamanna Badrudozza Rasul Babla and Lt Col (retd) Nuruddin elected vice chairmen of Kalyan Party. Syed Ibrahim announced the names of the new committee members. Earlier around 11m, he inaugurated the party’s founding anniversary programme.
