SUST mathematics department reunion Feb 19
SYLHET: A two-day reunion of the Department Mathematics of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) will be held on February 19 and 20.  It is the first reunion of the department. The registration process of the events began yesterday at the seminar room of the department through online and will be continued till December 31. Former Head of the department Shajedul Karim, inaugurated the registration process while Head (in-charge) of the department  Gulam Ali Hayder Chowdhury, Prof  Dr  Khairul Hasan were present. All of former students who are completed their graduation will participate in the reunion.

Capstone Senior Design Showcase held at NSU
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of North South University (NSU) conducted the ‘ECE Capstone Senior design Showcase Fall 2015’ on Tuesday, says press release. The purpose of this kind of event was to inspire the engineering students to apply their knowledge in changing the aspects of society from different perspectives and be able to help others understanding the outstanding applications of engineering in real life. The event was consisted of 52 projects conducted under the ‘Capstone Senior Design A and B’ based on the comprehensive knowledge of undergraduate students of EEE, ETE and CSE. It was categorized under nine different aspects of engineering.
The event was formally inaugurated by MA Kashem, chairman, Board of Trustees of North South University, and Gour Gobinda Goswami, vice-chancellor (in charge). The judge panel of the event was comprised of Mohammad Mohidur Rahman Khan, System Analyst, BCC, Nahid Ferdous Auny, Product Team Lead, bdjobs.com Ltd, Md Aminul Hasan, Project Director, Wireless Broad Band, BTCL, Mahboob  Zaman, Managing Director, Datasoft, among others.
