New BGB battalion inaugurated

Newly formed 59 battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was inaugurated in Chapainawabganj yeasterday. Director General (DG) of BGB Major General Aziz Ahmed inaugurated the new battalion as chief guest as he hoisted the national flag at the headquarters of the 9 BGB battalion at a ceremony at noon yesterday. Among others, north-western region commander of BGB brigadier general Mahfujur Rahman, Rajshahi sector commander Colonel KM Ferdausul Shahab were present.
