Lightning Asia to launch �Shurjobati�

Lighting Asia Bangladesh (LAB) is going to launch a yearlong campaign titled “Shurjobati” from December 6 aiming to eliminate darkness in off-grid areas and raise awareness about using environment-friendly solar system across the country, reports UNB.
Lighting Asia Bangladesh is a joint initiative of International Finance Corporation (IFC) and German development organization GIZ to ensure access to light in off-grid areas in Bangladesh through this project.
Organisers announced the campaign details at a program at Karwan Bazar in the city.
Lighting Asia Bangla-desh program manager Muhammad Taif Ul Islam spoke on the occasion.
