Public hearing on corruption can establish people�s rights

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has been arranging public hearing on corruptions in different government offices for identifying sources of corruption to ensure and reach improved services to the people in a hassle-free manner, reports BSS. Commissioner of the ACC Dr Nasiruddin Ahmed made the observation at a post-rally public hearing on corruptions held at Tentulia upazila parishad auditorium under Tentulia upazila in Panchagarh as the chief guest. The ACC, upazila administration, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee CPC and school level Integrity Units organised the public hearing with the assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on corruptions of government offices. Hundreds of common people participated in the public hearing and openly raised various corruptions in Tentulia upazila land sub-registration office, land office, upazila health and family planning department and Power Development Board (PDB) office.
