Police recovered a tattered body of eleven years old boy from Mohsen Awalia canal at Barumchharya in Anwara upazila of Chittagong early yesterday two-day after of his missing. The deceased was identified as Sajal Khan Sagar, 11, son of Abdur Sabur of West Barumchharya village of Anwara Upazila. Sajal appeared at Primary School Certificate examination in 2015 from a local primary school. Police and local people suspected he was killed by slit-throat and thrown into the canal. “On information, we recovered the body from Mohsen Awalia canal; we have sent the body to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The reason behind the death will be know after getting atopsy report, however, we have started our investigation on it,” said Abdul Latif, officer-in-charge, Anwara police station. Local sources said the boy went out from home with his two friends on Tuesday evening, however, from then he did not return.
