Kevon Cooper’s selection as the man of the match seemed to be ridiculous given the incredible way Mahmudullah Riyad shaped up the team’s innings. But Cooper, a dedicated T20 all-rounder, played his role as effectively as anyone could anticipate. He was the man who blitzed astonishingly alongside Sekugge Prasanna, hitting an unbeaten 11 ball-22, after the platform was set by captain Riyad. But he played more important role during Chittagong’s batting. In a wicket, conducive to the batsmen, his sharp fielding trapped Kamran Akmal run out on naught, which was an immense shock for Vikings as Akmal is always a perfect player in true batting wicket. He got another dangerman Elton Chigumbura, who in the past changed the complexion of many match through his sheer power-hitting ability. He ended up three for 28 finally.
