A Rangpur court yesterday placed three people on a 10-day remand each in a case filed over the killing of Japanese citizen Hoshi Kunio.
Senior Judical Magistrate Shafiul Alam passed the order when Kaunia thana officer-in-charge Jahidul Islam, also investigation officer of the case, produced them before the court.
Earlier, they were shown arrested in the murder case.
Those remanded are Rajib Hossain alias Meril Sumon, 25, son of Hanif; Nawshad Hossain Rubel alias Kala Rubel, 27, son of Abdul Latif; and Kajal Chandra Barman alias Bharsa Kajal, 25, son of Bablu Chandra Barman, hailing from Shalban Shahipara of Rangpur city.
