Four arrested with pistol

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Manikganj

Detective Branch (DB) of Police recovered a pistol and arrested four persons from Megshimul area in Sadar upazila on Suday night. Acting on a tip-off, a team of DB Police waylaid at Megshimul on Dhaka-Aricha highway at around 11.00 pm, intercepted a private car and arrested Nurul Islam with an Italian pistol. Police also arrested three others -- Golam Mostafa, Motiur Rahaman and Faruque – in this connection.
