With the release of the first album ‘Prapta-bayosker Nishiddha’ in 1997, which has been still very contemporary today, popular band Maqsood O Dhaka started its journey in the country. Their songs speak about time, sometimes their songs revolt and even wake the people up. Interestingly, the band has not released any complete music video during last 16 long years. The song titled ‘Jagoroner Montrana’—from the album ‘Shabdachitra’ released in 2014—has been brought to the audio market as a music video. The new music video was released on Sunday, in which band members of Maqsood O Dhaka took part. The music video is directed by Redwan Hamid. ‘Ei Premhin Bhalobasa, Chhobi Dekhe Bhalolaga, Zuger Mantrana…’ the song depicts the form and characteristics of virtual love on Facebook, Twitter and Viber. Maqsood said about the music video, “Earlier, the song ‘Parwardigar’ was released as a music video two years ago. The activists of Ganajagaran Mancho produced that one, which featured only me. For the last 16 years, ‘Jagoroner Montrana’ has been the first ever complete music video of the band, where all members of Maqsood O Dhaka participated.”
