Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique died of cardiac arrest at Square Hospital in the capital early Monday. He was 58, reports UNB. Abu Bakar Siddique, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital, breathed his last at about 4:55am, confirmed relatives of the deceased. He left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of admirers to mourn his death. President Abdul Hamid expressed deep shock at the death of Abu Bakar Siddique. In a condolence message, Abdul Hamid prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family members. Abu Bakar Siddique, was born in an aristocratic Muslim family of Naria, Shariatpur on March 3, 1958.
