Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said he is keen to see the changes that have taken place in Bangladesh since his visit to Bangladesh at the age of 13 with his father, the then Prime Minister of Canada, reports UNB. The 43-year-old Canadian Prime Minister said this when Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali met him on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which was inaugurated on Friday with a colorful ceremony at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta, said a Foreign Ministry media release yesterday. The Foreign Minister conveyed the Canadian Prime Minister greetings and felicitations from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on his assumption of the office. Mahmood Ali also extended Bangladesh Prime Minister’s invitation to the Canadian Prime Minister to visit Bangladesh. The Canadian PM agreed to undertake the visit soon at a mutually convenient time. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali led the Bangladesh delegation to the CHOGM.
