1000 bottles of phensidyl seized

Police seized 1000 bottles of phensidyl from a private car in Puran Adalatpara area of the district town yesterday morning. Police said sensing the presence of the law enforcers the drug traders managed to flee away leaving the car behind.  Later, police along with the members of community police seized the car and took it to the premises of Chandpur Natun Bazar Police Outpost.  In-charge of Natun Bazar Police Outpost Nurul Huque said the value of the seized drugs, kept in eight cartons, is estimated to be about Tk 10 lakhs.
