Batting was increasingly difficult in the surface that confused every player, given its two-paced nature. But one batsman seemed to not have bothered much. Sadman Islam, a T20 debutant, batted in the surface so sensibly that it was hard to believe, he never plays T20 in competitive cricket.

He scored 45 off 47 with six fours in the tough surface with ease that the adjudicators couldn’t consider Mustafizur Rahman or Nasir Hossain who both claimed three wickets in measly bowling effort, as the man of the match (MOM). On his T20 debut, it went to Sadman.
