Meghdoot added to Biman fleet

A new passengers’ carrier Boeing 737-800 is going to be added to Biman fleet today, said a press release.
With this new addition, Biman will have a total of 13 aircraft in its fleet. There is another Boeing 737-800 is going to be added by December this year, the release added.
According to the press release, Biman will receive the aircraft under an agreement with Boeing Company in 2008 for acquisition of 10 new generation aircraft of 4 Boeing 777-300ERs, 2 Boeing 737-800 and 4 Boein0g 787 Dreamliner, the biggest ever deal in the history of the airline.
Biman Bangladesh has already received four Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
As per agreement Boeing is scheduled to deliver 04 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft by 2019/2020.
