Cancellation of Narsingdi BNP committee demanded

BNP’s Narsingdi sadar upazila unit and Madhabdi Poura Unit jointly organised a protest rally demanding immediate cancellation of the newly formed sadar upazila committee. Speakers at the rally urged BNP Chairperson Khaledia Zia and Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to cancel the recently formed committee as it was formed without consulting with any local and national leaders of the party. Genuine leaders and workers of the party were dropped out from the news committee, speakers said. The rally begins from Madhabdi SP High School gate and ended at the Madhabdi Pourashava. The meeting was chaied by senior vice president of newly formed committee, Makksudur Rahman Bhuiyan, who later resigned from the committee.
