Linde Bangladesh Ltd is going to build an air separation unit ((ASU) in Rupganj, Narayanganj, with a production capacity of approximately 100 tonnes of liquefied gases per day.
Linde Bangladesh, a subsidiary of the Linde Group's Gases Division, announced this at a press conference in the capital yesterday. Erphan Shihabul, managing director of Linde Bangladesh Ltd, said the new ASU will start production by 2017.
It will provide liquefied gas supply and related solutions to the country’s growing healthcare, food and beverage, fabrication, pharmaceutical, ship building and ship recycling industries, he said.
