Three High Court judges, hearing the death references and appeals in the BDR carnage case, yesterday asked the government to provide special security to them, reports UNB. The three-member HC bench, comprising Justice Md Shawkat Hossain, Justice M Abu Zafor Siddique and Justice M Nazrul Islam Talukder passed the suo moto order as they did not get the security from police even after seeking it through the Supreme Court registrar office. The Home Secretary, the Law Secretary, the Inspector General of Police and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner have been directed to ensure proper security to the judges within seven days of receipt of the copy of the order, said deputy attorney general KM Zahid Sarwar Kajal.
