21 food shops fined

Divisional and district offices under Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) yesterday realised Taka 1.31 lakh from 21 shops in separate drives at different parts of the country, reports BSS. Under the drive, Noodles Restaurant and Sonargaon Bakery and Cake Shop were fined Taka 20,000 and 5,000 respectively for selling products with MRP level and Tania Food Store Taka 2,000 for using faulty measuring tools at Dhanmondi in the capital, said a press release.
