5 JMB men remanded over Hoseni Dalan blasts

A Dhaka court yesterday placed five suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on a five-day remand in a case filed in connection with blasts at city’s Hoseni Dalan, reports UNB.
Those remanded are Chan Miah, Omar Faruk alias Manik, Mohammad Shahjahan, Ahsan Ullah Mahbub, and Kabir Hossain alias Rashed alias Ashik.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate M Yunus Khan passed the order when inspector of Detectives Branch (DB) of police M Mostafa Ansari produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each. The court also rejected their bail pleas.
Members of DB police in separate drives arrested the five JMB men from different parts of the capital from Wednesday night.
