BDB decides to participate in civic polls

Bikolpadhara Bangladesh (BDB) has decided to participate in the forthcoming municipality polls scheduled to be held on December 30.
BDB leaders and anyone who oppose to terror, corruption and upholding liberal democratic and nationalist ideals can contest the polls with party symbol ‘Kula’ (Winnowing Fan), BDB chief AQM Badruddoza Choudhury told a meeting of the party’s policy makers recently, a BB release said yesterday.
An advertisement in this regard was given in newspapers yesterday, the release said, adding, the candidates interested to contest in the posts of mayor and chairman of municipalities and upazilas to contact the party in this regard.
