ETV ownership changed

The ownership of Ekushey Television ( ETV), the country’s first satellite TV channel,  has changed, according to a release issued by new management body on its website yesterday.
According to the release, S Alam Group has taken over the TV station buying it in an auction on October 8 and it will own ETV’s shares, trademark, service mark, logo and all other things.
The change in ownership also brought about a new board of directors at the TV station. The board has been taken over by nine members who have made Mohammad Saiful Alam the new chairman and Abdus Samad vice-chairman in its meeting.
