2 die in Bogra road crash

BOGRA: Two persons were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Kahalu upazila yesterday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Nadim Talukdar, 18, student of class XI at JK Degree College and an inhabitant of Mohismunda village in Dupchachaia  upazila and Joyanta Boshakh, 27, of Raykali village in Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (B Circle) Gaziur Rahman said the accident took place at around 2.30pm when a Bogra bound bus of Ripon Paribahan plunged into a roadside ditch in Dubra area on Bogra-Naogaon road, leaving two people dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
A case was filed in this connection.
