Int�l Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women observed

In association with Manusher Jonno Foundation, members of Karmajibi Nari observed    ‘International Day for the Elimination of Violence  Against Women’ in Paba upazila of the district.
To mark the day they arranged a colourful rally in front of Damkura Union Parishad under Paba upazila holding banner titled “Not marriage before 18, No child before 20” after parading various streets of the union.
Later, they staged a demonstration against persecution on girl child and woman. At the meeting, young girls of those organisations took oath to build up prevention together against woman persecution.
Morsheda Zahan, Senior Programme Officer of Karmajibi Nari presented key-note paper at the meeting.
