GAZIPUR: Police recovered the bodies of three people, including a schoolboy, in the district on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Of them, the bodies of a schoolboy and an unidentified young woman were recovered from Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital and that of a man from Rayed Bazar area on the bank of the Shitalakhya River in the district.
The schoolboy was identified as Bashir Uddin, 14, a student of class VIII of Rani Bilashmoni Govt High School and son of Belal Hossain, a local businessman, a resident Jorapukur area of Jaydebpur area of the district.
Local and hospital source said locals recovered Basher’s body from a pond near his house and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.
Police suspect that Bashir was killed over previous enmity.
On the other hand, police recovered an unidentified young woman’s body from the hospital. Hospital sources said two unidentified men had brought the young woman to the hospital from Salna area as she took poison. Later the two men managed to flee from the hospital before doctors declared her dead. Later doctors informed police who recovered the body.
Police recovered decomposed body a man from the bank of the Shitalakhya River at Rayed Bazar in the district.
Police sent the recovered bodies to hospital morgue for autopsy.
