One more dies

Another Islami Chhatra Shibir activist, injured in Monday’s attack allegedly by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men near MM College, died on way to Dhaka early yesterday.
Kamrul Hasan, 21, died at about 12:30am while being taken to Dhaka for better treatment, said Shikder Akkas Ali, officer in-charge of Jessore Kotwali police.   
BCL men allegedly picked up Kamrul, Habibullah and Al Mamun from a student mess Monday afternoon.
Later, the trio was tortured in Asad Hall of the college. Informed, police took them to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared Habibullah dead.
BCL, however, claimed that the Shibir men became the victims of mob-beating at the time of holding a meeting.
