Shab-e-Meraj ovserved with due solemnity

The holy Shab-e-Meraj was observed across the country yesterday night with due solemnity.

On the occasion, Muslims around the world offer special prayers all night in mosques and homes seeking blessings of Allah for the welfare of the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah. During Shab-e-Meraj last night the imams performed munajat as Islamic Foundation called upon everyone to perform their night prayers at home.

On the night of 26th Rajab every year, Muslims observe Shab-e-Meraj when Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) embarked on a special journey to meet Allah.

In the journey, the Prophet travelled on the “Buraq” to Heaven where Allah gave him some instructions to take back to the faithful regarding the details of prayers.
