2 ‘drug peddlers’ held with 1.5 lakh yaba pills

Members of Bangladesh Coastguard (BCG), in a drive, arrested two suspected drug peddler along with 1.5 lakh yaba tablets from Sangu Mohana area under Anowara police station of Chittagong yesterday.  The detainees are Md Jalal Uddin, 25 and Md Farooq, 26. They are residents of Anowara upazila in Chittagong district.The arrested Yaba traders, Yaba tablets and wooden boats have been transferred to Anwara police station for further legal action.
