Riad, Salwa to debut with govt-grant ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’

Riad Rayhan and Nishat Nawar Salwa, two newbie artistes in the country’s showbiz, are going to make debut with celebrated actress-director Kobori Sarwar’s latest film ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’. The shooting of the government-grant venture was commenced on March 17, the first day of birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’ is the Kobori’s second directorial film, where Riad and Salwa will be seen portraying the roles of Aniruddho and Aroni respectively.

Meanwhile, Riad has already participated in the shooting for two days. On the other hand, Salwa didn’t stand in front of the camera yet, though she was present during the entire day of shooting on March 17.  

About working in the film, Riad said, “I am very pleased to work under the direction of Kobori madam (director Kobori Sarwar). I cannot express my feelings in words. Though I was little nervous in the beginning, I have overcome my fear as my first take went really well.”

“It is an achievement for me that Kobori Apa kept her faith in me for the role of heroine. Although, my part of the shooting is yet to begin, I was present on the first day of the shooting. I observed everything and her direction sitting beside her. She taught me many things regarding acting and I also tried to learn from her lesson. I will do the job to the best of my ability to fulfil her expectation,” Salwa said on her part. l
