2 drug traders remanded

A Dhaka court on Monday placed two drug traders on a day remand each in a narcotics case. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atikul Islam placed Md Mizan Bhuiyan, 28, and Md Sajib, 20, on a day remand each while police produced the duo before court and pleaded to place seven-day remand each in the narcotics case lodged with Paltan Police Station. Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested the accused from opposite side of Karnaphuli Garden City market in Kakrail area on March 16 and they recovered 13 kilograms ganja from their possession.
