Himu in new film after six years

Actress previoulsy appeared in two more films

Humaira Himu, a theatre artiste-turned-popular TV actress, is going to work in a new film after a hiatus of six years. This time around, the actress will be seen appearing in the film titled ‘Torey Koto Bhalobashi’ under the direction of Dewan Nazmul.

Although, Himu will return to the film industry after six long years, she was offered to work in multiple films at different times during this period. However, she had to discard the projects as everything didn’t match according to the plan, the actress informed.

Himu said about her new film, “I liked the both story and my character in the film very much. My character contains some surprises. I hope the audience will like it. Dewan Nazmul is an accomplished director, who knows how to take delivery of his work from the artistes paying them proper respect.”   

In the film ‘Torey Koto Bhalobashi’, small screen actor Sabir Ahmed has starred opposite Himu.

Himu previously earned appreciation for her appearance in an important role in the film ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’ (2011) directed by Morshedul Islam. She last appeared in the film ‘Ek Cup Cha’, produced and starred by Ferdous, released in 2014.
