BNP spokesman Asaduzzaman Ripon yesterday alleged that ‘false’ cases are being filed against their party leaders and activists across the country in a bid to harass them, reports UNB. In a statement, he said, “We condemn the government’s move to harass BNP leaders and activists by filling false cases against them across the country.” The statement was issued protesting the arrest of Madaripur’s Kalkani upazila unit BNP president Fazlul Haq Bepari on Friday night.
