Two killed in accidents

At least two people were killed in separate  accidents yesterday. In Mymensingh, a man was killed when a truck crushed him at Kodalia on Mymen­singh-Haluaghat road in Tarakanda upazila yesterday morning. The victim was identified as Abdur Rashid Akanda, 55, of Kodalia village. In Faridpur, an elderly woman identified as Joytunnesa, 65, a resident of Atadi area in Bhanga municipality, was killed in Bhanga yesterday. The accident took place at around 8:45 am when a speeding bus ran over her when she was crossing the road.
