A absconding convict of the Samiul Alam Rajon murder case was sent to jail while he was surrendered before a Sylhet court on Sunday morning. Judge of Sylhet metropolitan session’s judge court Akbar Hussain Mridha rejected his bail plea and ordered the authority to send him jail. Shamim Ahmed, who was awarded seven years imprisonment, brother of condemned Quamrul Islam, surrendered before the Metropolitan Session Judge’s Court seeking a bail plea, where court sent him jail. Earlier, on November 8, the court sentenced four people, including prime accused Quamrul Islam to death and others accused to different term imprisonments for Rajon murder.
