Promoting women entrepreneurship and enhanced emancipation of women in economic activities have become crucial for attaining the sustainabl development goals (SDGs) to build a developed country. The opinion came at the launching function of an ‘Ananda Mela-2020’ of women entrepreneurs held at Public Library ground on Wednesday afternoon marking celebration of the centenary birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Rangpur unit of Jatiya Mahila Sangstha (JMS) is arranging the week-long fair under the Promotion of Women Entrepreneurs for Economic Empowerment Project (3rd Phase) of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
