6 matches decided in inter-school basketball

To celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangabandhu Inter-school Basketball tournament kicked off at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium yesterday. I6 schools, divided into 4 groups, are participating in the tournament. Sports Life TV will telecast all the matches of the tournament.  A total number of six matches were played yesterday. In the day’s first match, St. Joseph School edged past Quantum Cosmo School by 28-23 points. Ispahani Public School, Muslim Academy, Baliapukur Biddya Niketon, Green Herald School and Mastermind School came victorious against St Philip's School, Maple Leaf, St Nicholas, Scholastica, Jorapukuria Madhyamik Biddaloy respectively in other 5 matches.
