Gazi group steal 2nd day show

Gazi Group Cricketers have led the way on day two as the club bagged eight impact players for the upcoming 2019-2020 Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division League (BDPDCL), slated to begin from March 15.
The second day players draft held at the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) office at the SBNCS yesterday.
National team Test skipper Mominul Haque, U19 World Cup winning captain Akbar Ali along with Soumya Sarkar, Ariful Haque, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Md Jakir Hasan, Mukidul Islam Mugdho and Nahid Hasan have officially been picked up by the club yesterday.
A total of 20 players have signed for six different clubs on day two.
Apart from Gazi Group, Legends of Rupganj roped in five players that includes Shadman Islam, Pinak Ghosh, Md Ruyel Ahmed, Md Samsul Islam and Al Amin Hossain (jnr).
Partex Sporting Club added two more players- Jubayer Hossain Likhon and Imran Ali Enam to their side making it a 14-member squad so far.
Left handed batsman Imrul Kayes and fast bowler Rubel Hossain were officially bought by Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Prime Bank Sporting Club respectivley while Brothers Union has inked deal with Sobuj Barman, Manik Khan and Rahatul Ferdous Javed on day two of the three-day players transfers.
