BCC wins UN WSIS Prizes 2020

Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) has won United Nation’s WSIS Prizes 2020 for developing e-recruitment platform, according to WSIS. The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) selected the BCC’s e-recruitment project titled ‘Recruitment Process Management as a Shared Service for Government Agencies of Bangladesh’ for prize as it was among the most voted project in e-employment category 11, said Naiqian Zhang of WISIS in an e-mail sent to Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) on February 25 last. After ending the voting phase globally on January 24, the expert group formed by the WSIS reviewed the top five voted projects of e-employment category for selecting one for awarding.
