2 killed in Gazipur road crash

Two persons were killed and eight others injured in a collision between a bus and a human hauler on Dhaka –Tangail highway at Mowchak in Kaliakoir upazila yesterday. One of the deceased has been identified as Shahin, 40, while the identity of the other dead man could not be known immediately. OC of Konabari highway police Abu Dawood said the accident took place when a bus hit a human hauler, leaving eight passengers of the human hauler injured. The bus later veered off the road and smashed into a hotel beside the highway, killing a hotel boy on the spot. Local people sent the injured to local clinic, where one of them died.
