Our Correspondent, Dinajpur

More than 48 hours into the shooting of an Italian national in Dinajpur, police are yet to find any clues to initiate their investigation into the incident.
On Wednesday, Italian national Piero Parolari, a priest at a local church and a physician at Saint Vincent Missionary Hospital, came under attack by assailants near BRTC bus terminal in Mirzapur area of Dinajpur town. He sustained a bullet injury on the lower part back of his dead around 8.30am.
Farther Silas Kujur of Dinajpur Catholic Church filed a case with Kotwali Police Station around 10:30pm the same day accusing some unknown assailants over the incident.
Since the filing of the case, the police have failed to gain any lead in their probe. However, the law enforcers have arrested 53 people in an overnight raid.
