SSC student succumbs to burn injuries

A student of Kulotia Secondary School in Abhaynagar upazila succu-mbed to her burn injuries at a hospital in Jessore on Tuesday night.
The deceased was Priya Mandal, 15, daughter of Provash Mandal of village Kulotia in the upazila.
According to local and police sources, on Saturday last she poured petrol on her body as she failed in the test examinations and could not fill up the form for the ensuing SSC examinations.
She was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital in critical condition. After fighting for life for four days she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday night.
