Shaba Binte Amin
Thanks to our growing restaurant industry, we are getting to experience culinary creations from all over the world. Our neighbouring country India is a source of multiple cultures as well as rich culinary elements and traditions. These delicacies are readily available to us to taste and experience, and such an outlet delivering the flavours is Angaar, located at Gulshan 1.
During my recent visit there, I ordered ‘Shabnam Ki Moti’, along with a few other items. The dish was kind of like ‘sheek kabab’, except the kabab was all vegetables. Chunks of capsicum, onion, tomato and mushroom were hooked in a sheek (skewer) and then grilled with different spices and herbs. The dish disappointed me a little as I am a meat lover, but it is an absolute treat for vegetarians and mushroom lovers.
The décor of Angaar is beautifully crafted, featuring all the 28 states of India through the design elements. You’ll get a traditional Indian vibe from the interior while enjoying fine Indian dining.
