Salma Khatun retained as captain of women’s cricket team ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Australia 2020. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad yesterday.
The team will arrive at Brisbane on Feb 03 and head to Elite Gold Coast. They will take part in Gym and pool training session there till Thursday. The women team will play three tour matches on 07, 10 and 12 of February. The first practice match is against Thailand on 16 February, followed by another practice match with Pakistan on 20 February. Bangladesh enter into the main event with a match with India on 24 February in WACA, Perth. Three days later they face Australia Manuka Oval, Canberra on 27th March. The remaining two matches will be played in Junction Oval, Melbourne against New Zealand and Sri Lanka respectively. The matches are scheduled to take place on 29th February and 2nd March. If they qualify for semi-final, they will move to Sydney and play the match on 5th march. The final will be on Melbourne on 8th March.
