Members of Bangladesh Coastguard (BCG) have detained three alleged drug traders with 1, 50,000 yaba pills in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar on Saturday.
The arrestees are MST Nur Bahar, 50, Md Helal Hossain, 28, and Md. Abdur Razzak, 18. All the arrested are residents of Teknaf police station in Cox's Bazar district. According to secret news, the drug peddlers were detained while searching a house at Dale Para sea beach under Teknaf police station.
Coast Guard East Zone media officer Md Shah Zia Rahman confirmed the incident and said that the seized yaba tablets were stored in that house for trafficking in different regions of the country and they have been involved in the drug trade for a long time. The arrested Yaba traders and Yaba were later transferred to the Teknaf police station for further legal action.
