Programme to telecast Ekushey Book Fair 2020 live from venue

Like the previous years, Channel i is going to telecast the month-long Amar Ekushey Book Fair live from the venue this year too. The programme titled IFIC Bank-Channel i Boi Mela Sorasori will be aired everyday from the premises of Bangla Academy in the capital.
This year, Boi Mela Sorasori will step into 14 years, while IFIC Bank has been involved with this programme since last 10 years.
The programme will air various features of the book fair, including introducing new books and interviews of writers, publishers and visitors.
With book fair just around the corner, a press conference was arranged yesterday at Channel i office to disclose details of this years Boi Mela Sorasori. Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagor highlighted different aspects of the programme in his welcome speech.
Among others, Bangla Academy Director General Habibullah Siraji, IFIC Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Shah Alam Sarwar, Boi Mela Sorasori producer Amirul Islam and eminent novelist Imdadul Haq Milon were present at the press meet.
Habibullah Siraji said, This years book fair has been dedicated to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the forthcoming Amar Ekushey Book Fair is going to be first national fair in the year of birth centenary of Bangabandhu. So, this years book fair will be presented in a different manner. The Boi Mela Sorasori will be anchored by Imdadul Haq Milon, Lutfor Rahman Riton and Ahmad Mazhar.
