‘Drug peddler’ held in C'nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged illegal drug peddler with 3,245 pieces of yaba tablet from Belalbazar under Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday evening. The arrested person was identified as Md. Arafat Hossain, 30, son of Md. Azizul Islam of Gaginagar Sanabhanga village under Patnitala upazila in Naogaon district. RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area at around 4-45 pm and arrested Arafat with the yaba tablets.
