Indian team calls on JS Speaker

A delegation led by President of Bangladesh Network for NCD Control and Prevention (BNNCP) Professor Brigadier Abdul Malik paid a courtesy call on Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed about preventing non-communicable diseases, committee formation of ‘Non-communicable Disease Prevention and Control’ and tobacco control agenda.

The speaker thanked the delegation of non-communicable disease prevention and control committee for performing their duties successfully.

She also emphasised on the formation of a parliamentary caucus over the prevention and control of infectious diseases, said a press release.
