Walton and Marcel, two brands of the local electronics giant Walton Group, have set a target of selling 10 lakh units of television in this year which is about 66.67 per cent higher than their TV sales of the previous year, the company said in a press statement.
To celebrate the success in sales of TV, Walton organised a day-long ‘Mega achievement celebration and best TV branding award’ at its corporate office in the capital recently.
While addressing the event, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Director Raisa Sigma Hima announced that the company this year set a target of selling 10 lakh units (1 million) of LED and Smart TV. She named the target as ‘Mission 1 Million’.
To meet this target, they released 7 new models of LED and Smart TV in the ongoing month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair, said Rifa Tasnia Swarna, director of the company.
